Hoover, 1920's Apartment Building

This 1920's Four-plex entailed a full interior and exterior restoration. Plumbing and electrical was replaced throughout, and two bathrooms entirely rebuilt. Original cast-iron tubs and pedestal sinks were rescued, along with original hardware for the grand staircase in the interior of the master unit. A common area was created off the side of the building on top of the garages, with balustrades and hand-wrought iron bridge for the walkway connecting to the main building. Hardwood floors were restored, and dining room built-in recreated. Rental increases were as much as 356%/unit.
